SE MN & NE IA
My youngest graduated from Platteville, WI last December. We used to discuss some of the things in the media like the whole glyphosate causes cancer reports as well as all the GMO misinformation. I know she also talked to professors about some of those same issues and they always seemed to ground the thinking in science. I also liked the fact they had an active enough recruitment program that some great companies came to campus for summer internships. Those seem to pull everything together and then built upon the following semester. I think they have a pretty high placement with Ag companies as well as returning many back to the farm well equipped to manage when the time comes.

She and I used to discuss water hemp resistance and she would tell me what the agronomy professors would recommend to be successful. We tweaked our program some and have been pretty happy with the results. We talk a lot about seed corn also and the traits. Hard to keep up with all the changes from year to year.
