Fulton County Ohio | It happens often to us. An interesting occurrence was when a deputy came to me with his report asking I demand compensation for crop damages. A known young trouble maker had done minor damage to my field. $10 total damage. When he exited the field an old catch basin in road right of way took out the bottom of his car. The deputy wanted to see if the humiliation of speaking with the property owner might influence the young man into altering his future behavior. Usually we never know who did the damage. | |
