Subject: RE: Fungicide check strip in soybeans

eastern Kansas
If I read that right the check has no fungi and no insecticide. But the rest of the field has both? If insecticide is needed then what will it really tell you? Not picking but I hear that all the time here from a couple retailers. "Well we ran a check and the fungi/insecticide was better by x bushels". Well no kidding we had pod worms. I left the fungicide out for a couple of rounds here when spraying insecticide. Courious what we see but so far I suspect fungicide salesman won't be happy. Hope I am wrong always looking for an extra bushel
