If I spend money on stalk devastators, breaking and knocking over corn stalks would be the only thing that they would be used for. If I purchased a tool like the one mentioned in my op, I could use it for more than just breaking and knocking over corn stalks. Such as lightly incorporating cover crop seed, "rolling" a cereal rye cover crop in the spring, very light vertical tillage in the spring to warm up and dry out ground faster (we are surrounded by Lake Huron and northerly winds can keep us 10 to 15 degrees cooler than farther inland).
