Why is Phosphorous so Expensive?

That makes sense to me. I know they always say phosphorous is a natural resource but I always assume that helps them keep price up. We do all in furrow dry P injection on 30" centers. We actually inject all of our nutrients for row crops ahead of the planter with a custom built fert bar with yetter magnums. I do think it has helped with fertilizer use efficiency.
