Price sucks now, every one and their dog is planting it. I would plan on $50-70 per ton next year. Btw that does not pay the bills unless the land is practically free.
Oh yeah and a year like this it's about impossible to put up good hay. And poor hay this year is bringing nothing to $30 per ton.
