The aphids produce a LARGE amount of a very sticky "honeydew". They are generally on the leaves, but can also move up and feed in the heads. We had to spray to keep them out of the combine. Even though the milo was tall, we didn't seem to have much head exertion, and had to take in a fair amount of leaves.
