Saronville NE | I've been running a flail stalk shredder before notill beans. 2 reasons, main reason our 1020 head doesn't seem to cut smooth with old stalks standing. I truly believe we are leaving 1-2 bu in the field, and it seems easier on tires. I usually try and shred in Jan when we get a open spell, then we usually get more snow on top, that helps trash deterioration and never a problem planting thru. | |
