...yeah, the stubble issue really isn't an issue. Neither is the air seeding cover crops. Leave a tramline every other pass (whatever lines up with your planter rows and seeder width). As far north as you are (Even though you get the tempering from the lakes) a 15" row system makes sense. I don't think that row width could be any more likely to promote white mold than 30". At some point..the rows close in good soybeans.
