| Yes it's pretty widespread from what I've seen and it has been coming on for several weeks here. The fields we sprayed fungicide are standing perfect but everything else is having troubles to some degree. Some varieties are definitely worse than others. I think it is all due to plant/leaf diseases and the recent heavy rains and winds just made it worse.
What I am seeing is not completely broken off, it is just going down. If yours is completely broken off, I agree with tumbleweed. You are probably looking at southwestern corn borer damage. | |
