Generally don't set yield goals, but operate under a whole farm yield average with a bias towards increasing average yields which are comparable to majority of farmers in the area
As far as DC beans, for my northern latitude, have maintained 40 bpa average over last 30 years, that trend is also increasing, with 56 bpa max and 25 bpa min and 2012 and 1988 excluded (didn't have wheat those years and luck is part of my equation)
My personal disposition is I don't subscribe to hype and don't care if rest of the herd runs off the cliff | |
