just a tish NE of central ND | On the generators im familiar with a constant pto seed must be maintained to deliver a constant 60 hertz to the loads.Changeing speed changes both hertz and voltages.Running a generator too fast will make a electric clock run faster Than it should as well as a motor.Too little rpms and a motor and a clock will run to slow. Too low of a voltage will fry a motor as well as to much voltage. My guess its their ITV jUSt held a nice constant rpm under varied load conditions. Not sure how any fuel would be saved though. |
