Southwest Iowa | Yeah, I traded in a 2002 with the 7.3 and usually got around 15-16 mpg in the country and 18-19 when on the interstate. I did chip that one, so that may have made some difference.
This new one is telling me that I'm around 13 at the moment. The salesman and others have told me that the mileage should improve once I get past 10-15,000 miles. Something about the exhaust has to wear down something in the system to allow it to flow more freely. Guess I'll see how it's doing a year from now and hope that things improve. | |
