Not one problem with the transmission itself on 2 of our trucks, mine had some sort of switch replaced while still almost new, one of our others had quite a few bouts of wires coming off but it was due to being in stubble and cotton fields.
The other truck had a U joint go bad and we drove it too long. Cracked the transmission housing!! GM fixed it though. Were we ever surprised and glad.



Main thing on these is the front end. Trucks are just too heavy for the light duty parts they use under them. Mines been replaced twice now. Ball joints etc is what I'm talking about.
