West Texas

2001 was the first year the Duramax was available.

My 2002 has 154000 now with only a set of injectors at 108000 miles. Engine is pretty good. Does not use oil. Been chipped for the last 115.000 miles with an Edge.

04 and 05's are the ones to pass up if you can help it. Some had overheating problems and both of our 04's had injector issues multiple times before reaching 100.000 miles. We still have one of them with around 85.000 miles and it stays parked with an antifreeze leak that they can't find. The harder you push it the more antifreeze it will push out but thedealer can't find it. We don't use it much now and will take it to a diffenrent dealer soon.

I would like to have a classic 06. no exhaust filter on them yet.
