NW Ohio | Thanks for bringing up the new dicamba issue with AMS. This is one more reason I am not too excited about Extend beans at all.
Everyone has brought up great points, I didn't consider residue on the plant tissue itself. I'm trying to work to using the lowest possible label rates and how to achieve this, with constant positive results. So the first item I looked at is water and how to vastly improve its quality. AMS seems to be, more so, just a conditioner with possible foliar impacts.
Where I am trying to get to, is at what point does improvement of the quality of your water supply, stop improving your herbicide control.
The next question I have, is on the herbicide labels what quality of water do they use to determine the usage rates with relation to the percent of control?
Do they use fully filtered water, water with AMS, filtered water with AMS, ect ect.
I look at the labels and wonder how they determined the perfect rates. | |
