NE KS | It was explained recently that Ammonia Sulfate does 2 main things
1) Sulfate helps soften water.
2) Ammonia component helps the plant grow and take in more chemical. Guy said Roundup needs to be taken up quickly before it drys and turns into a salt.
The new Dicamba herbicides can't be mixed with AMS. Doing so will turn it into regular Dicamba. New formulations don't need the Ammonia component since Dicamba causes plants (hopefully weeds) to outgrow itself and die. | |
