Subject: Land owner trouble

Kansas
One guy I farm for called me up last night and said he'd seen I'd harvested the double crop beans off part of his field (it's 75 acres seperated by a drainage ditch) and keeps insisting he wants wheat planted there. Trouble is, yesterday we cleaned the drill up and put it away, and wheat seed that could be used is in the bin and would have to be cleaned, let alone it's low enough we'd have to get in and shovel it out. This field is also troublesome with those purple flower weeds and I thought doing double crop beans, milo, beans again, then wheat would keep that problem at bay. All this for 29 acres. This guy doesn't get what I'm trying to do, including no-til and would just as soon have the whole thing to wheat every year as according to him wheat is the least risky crop. Got maybe half inch of rain last night and more expected today, kinda hoping it just stays wet so I can use that as an excuse. Would any of you go through all the effort I described just for 29 acres?
