We built a Quonset with pits back in the late 70s and had barley stored in a dirt floor shop. critters and pests can really mess with flat stored grain and there is so much humidity from grain in flat storage so get fans and vents available.
Lots of quonsets were sold to store grain and lots of discounts came for spoiled and buggy grain, Discounts were much less then than now. so be careful
