I didn't count the pods, but this thing looked like a mutant. The main stalk was about 1.5 in in diameter and the branches were about 3/4in. I only found it because I was going after a sprig of Johnson grass growing next to it that I had sprayed earlier.
have spotted a few like that but never really checked the pods. all of mine are pretty bushy tho and i wonder how that's gonna work out with the combine. last year they weren't thick like that but had really stringy stems and it was pain |
