Wide open unless the ground speed gets to fast. C-Plowing the faster the better.
I don't care to downshift until I see about 15-1600 rpm. Usually can grunt through the tough spots.
That's with MFWD tractors with 220-250hp.
I have some areas that 4.5mph is tops with full throttle and grunting hard.
How many RPM do you run when pulling heavy?
