Subject: Monster soybean plant.

ontario
I found a soybean plant in my friends field, I brought it home and counted 362 pods on it.
The stalk was the size of a quarter dollar. The field was drilled late and then very few came up because of drought. When we had some rain the rest of the beans emerged but they are a month later. Now the fields are thick but not going to mature evenly. It will be interesting to see how it works out. This monster plant actually had other plants fairly close to i. It wasnt in the middle of no where. I know someone always posts about plant with lots of pods but 362 is amazing. I want to learn more about soybean plants now. There were clusters of about 4 pods and the clusters were close together.

I might play around with different populations and spaces next year to lear some stuff. Maybe just a couple acres.

So whats the biggest plant or most pods you have found on a soybean plant? Im just looking for a bit of a casual discussion on why some plants are like that.

I might see if theres more plants like this and get a picture
