Subject: RE: Grain Dryers

2 legs would probably be nice (wouldn't know), but you can do wet and dry with one leg as we have done. we just use a surge bin to hold corn temperarily when it comes out of the dryer. it has 3 pressure switches on it and one in the pit... when there is corn in the pit the surge bin unload is dissabled and it fills with corn out of dryer. when pit is empty surge unloads. bottom pressure switch stops unload auger. top pressure switch shuts off dryer if something goes wrong. middle pressure switch is used when there is no corn in pit... surge bin fills half way, then empties. this way the leg runs full and thus reduces wear on the downspouts.

i would imagine 2 legs would be nice but if you are looking at the price of 2 legs vs the price of 1 leg and an old bulk bin....
