Ansonia guys said it could be placed on positive or negative cabling. Could probably put them on both if you really wanted too. Like the idea of disconnect on ground side to lessen another set of connections going to starter.

Short run with good sized cabling direct to starter minimizes loss and gives the most bang for the buck out of that single large battery.
