I have one on my '05. Sure doesn't hurt anything. Dealer has them, seems like it was around $50. I put it on when gets cold, 20's and less. Like others said, keeps engine compartment warmer, less chance of freeze ups. Seems to me that it is better than having maybe 0º air hitting a warm radiator. I don't take it off and on for just a couple warm days like today (50º), unless I need to pull a load.
