It is determinate. I planted 33000. I would raise it to 35000.
There is no such thing as a determinate ear. All you gain by going from 33 to 35 is a higher seed bill and weaker stalks. It would have yielded the same at 28,000. I have some with a final stand of 28-29 and the ears are massive.
