Subject: RE: Yield goals vs population

NW Iowa
Yes on irrigated but not even close on dry land. Plant both at 30 k . Dry land will only be 180. Did put in a test area of 26k and looks to make the same as 30 k so pops will be dropping to 26k for sure next year and another test area of maybe 22k or so next year. But irrigated is going up to 35.

I would like to see a chart also if someone has one with yield goals and pops. I know what the high end is. What I want to see is a chart that gives pops for a yeild range. If my soil only grows 180 what should my pop be? It's got to be more that 18k. Thinking maybe 24 or so but would like to see studies.
