I don't totally understand all these "greedy" landlord threads lately.
Yes some are, but other times there are people like those you mentioned that really that rely on that income. Land rental is capitalism, and people seem to like capitalism until they are on the wrong end of it. Chances are the same people screaming about these "obscene rents" will be renting or selling their land in the top 25% of asking price too some day.
Exactly , Paul had good post too,as a tenant we have choices as LL's do........I have found all LL's really are good too work with if you do what you promise too...... curious how many guys trying too pick up new land mention anything about lowering rents if prices soften .....50 yr. old story about 2 late neighbors- guy buying farm tells seller you got all my money,seller replies "and you just got everything I had" |
