one quick comment:

we have stopped doing stationary calibrations (i.e., turning the wheel) and now always collect seed delivered into plastic bags while moving at a normal ground speed because this approach seems to better predict seeding rates in the field.

We also normally collect seed from fluted seed meters on both sides of the drill (a 15' JD 750 and older 10' JD drills) because one side consistently delivers a higher rate. We have also observed that there is some variation between meters on each side.

Any thoughts?
