perryton, tx | Last year the hype surrounding the SCA here was through the roof but the actual infestation wasn't too bad. This year has been a whole 'nother matter as we have them in large numbers in every field. They moved in around the 1st week of August and sort of slowly built up and then exploded in the last 10 days. The real salt in the wound has been the 30 mph wind day and night since Friday that's pretty well kept all the spray rigs and planes parked while the SCA go to town. | |
