I've got a friend that runs a flying service. He gets calls every day from all walks of life blaming him and the plane for everything. Killed a garden, ruined some guys roof on his trailer house, sprayed a tractor driving down a gravel road, dead roses, fertilized a yard next to a rice field and wanted him to pay for the extra mowing, roundup damage when they haven't sprayed roundup in weeks. The list goes on and on. Meanwhile there's a local farmer who sprays with his 2 ground rigs in all weather and winds regardless of his neighbors. He's told my friend that farmers could spray in higher winds cause "farmers and custom applicators have different rules". State plant board doesn't really see it that way though.
