I have a field of corn that half was hailed hard and half wasnt. Surprising enough the hailed still put on decent ears. But the entire field had earworm, this has been the worst year for earworm I've ever seen. Now I'm seeing quite a bit of Giberella. We have had a very cool, cloudy August is this the cause? Not a problem we have ever had. How much trouble am I in on this corn? Starch line half way down. Hailed stuff has more but non hailed has some too. Will it take the whole ear?
I don't know how much you have in that field. But it will blend out. I had a little in one field ran combine thru no problem. |
