Eastern Iowa
This bin the way it is will hold 25K bu – we plan to put up “as is” now and add 3 more rings next year – too late to get additional rings this year before harvest, unload floor and fan are all in great shape. New bin specked out the same as this one with floor, same size fan, and unload is $20K or $0.75/bu more than what we have in this one disassembled (new concrete, wiring and labor to put back up is the same new vs used). An all new one would last longer as this one is about 15 years old but if we take care of it and keep from rusting it will last a long time.

We hired two kids to help so we will have to pay them some beer money for helping, rest was family helping ranging from 7 to 50 years old. Weather was very nice, not to hot so overall was not a bad job.
