My winter wheat yields are almost always higher but I grow beardless wheat and cut lots of it for hay. Willowcreek WW and Fortuna Spring Wheat. I like both but get better yields here with WW. Our protein is usually higher on Spring wheat but it has to be. Fortuna is so similar to WW it was often used to fill in winter kill and sells with the Winter wheat,
