Alliance, NE | Trying to think of different planting options. We're are cutting our irr wheat acres in half. Is spring wheat a better option than winter? We have never grown spring wheat before but some farmers around here do. Is the fertilizer about the same? Yield difference? All I know is protein needs to be more with the spring wheat. We get docked already with low winter wheat protein. Is the harvest behind winter wheat by very many weeks? Thanks | |
