I think your post option is probably one of the SU materials. Be really careful on timing.

You could use a really high rate of alachlor incorporated. I used to use 4 quarts and it would hold it until late if not most of the season and, if you could, it would allow you to use drops more safely on the white corn.

Not a great idea but it would work. Acetachlor at 3 pints would also work but I'd be careful with crop safety.
