If the twines will not stay In the billhook it will not knot, and then as JCM mentioned, check the timing of your twine disc, and it's tension spring as well, then run the baler by hand, watching the needle to see where it drops the twine, the needle should ALMOST hit the twine disc and the frame of the knotter right above the twine disc
LOOK at you other knotter since it is working, mimic its settings, check the pull on the billhook cam on the bad knotter, and make it match the good knotter etc
small square baler knotters seem overly simple once you mess with a big square baler enough | |
