Mine is a 2012 and the tool is on a bracket on the back of the left side. It's hard to explain the procedure, but it's used to pull the idler back and slip the chain off. You'll figure it out. Mine has a Headsight system, so there is a control box for it in the cab and a diagnostic box mounted on the head itself.
