Back in the 40s they used to cut and carry foxtail out of the field
My neighbor used to do the same thing with jimpsonweeds.My dad made us cut the heads off of shatter cane by the pick up loads.
Are you seeing a trend here?
Its a waste of time and money.
You dont think dumping out what can easily be gotten is really going to help.
There would be weed seeds throughout the combine, it only takes one to get the ball rolling.
In my opinion its a waste of everyones time.
Maybe I am wrong but birds and ditch mowing pretty much spread it everywhere anyway.
I bet your custom combiner knows that and is reluctant to tell you what he sees.
