The switch plows don't do very well in our heavy soils when it's wet. You can't beat the IH (same as Arts Way) 145 hydraulic reset in our area with our rocks. Used worn out ones are bringing 7,500 + if you can find them. If all conditions are right, the switch plow will work. The IH 145 you can go to the field even if it is wet or snowy in early Feb. That's my 2 cents.
