Gas or diesel?

If its gas there is a known problem with the charcoal canisters plugging. Ford issues the TSB listed below on it. Ford even updated the charcoal canister to help with the issue.

If its diesel its likely just the routing. Had several diesel superduty trucks from F250-F550 with Knapehide boxes at my previous job. Only time one of them had a problem filling was when the rear spring broke and partially pinched off the fuel fill. The F550s were cab/chassis and had the midship tank. The F250 and F350s were standard frames with the normal 38 gallon tanks.
