Glasgow, Ky | Years ago when Walmart was running small stores out of business there was a lot of animosity toward them. I'd say a majority on here didn't think much of it.
Today, some BTO'S are doing the much the same by paying questionable high rental rates and even renting farms out from under others. In addition, some have an arrogance about them that doesn't give many a good feeling. That being said, yes there is some animosity on here due to that. Don't really think it is jealousy so much as it is anger. Is it justified? In some cases it is.
This forum most are here to learn. It was interesting to me how others speculated about how they were making shelling high moisture corn work. Every day on this site I read threads where someone is critical of another's comments. Sometimes there are reasons for it we don't know about.
For those who are never critical of the way someone else runs their farm, I commend you. The bigger you get, the more you effect the lives and livelihood of others. Expect to be criticized. It goes with the territory.
