NW Washington | Seedmaster double shank hoe drills made in Canada have a "Smart hitch" lash-up so that they can no-till into the middle of the old rows. I think these drills have 10 or 12 inch row spacing. http://www.seedmaster.ca/agronomy.php#superseed
Ed Boyson or his son here on NAT has done some wheat seeding in between old rows in Montana using RTK GPS guidance. This was also a hoe drill with fairly wide row spacing. I found some of Boyson's pictures that I had saved and posted them here.
