Speed up harvest is the main pro as "case" said. We may bag a few beans this year to be able to hold them rather than deliver into our -90 basis. Best basis last year was right after harvest and then again in March. Bags are .05 a bushel and not reusable If you don't have room in the bins or the time to wait for dryer or hauling its awesome tho. If your close enough to home I would consider bringing it back to the yard and bagging it there where you can easily keep an eye on it and don't have to worry about getting it out of the field in the middle of winter or before spring. Not so much of a worry if its in the yard.
