Yes, you are on the right track. I use a 62 ft air hoe drill. Do it with double crop behind proso millet and also behind fallow wheat. I just run sf2. It does take some nudging at times like a poster said earlier. I feel it protects your seedlings and the biggest thing is it catches those little 3 inch snows with 50 mph winds. It works. Wish I had pictures but they went with the old phone.
