| I was silly enough when I was younger to set up and save rain water off a large roof that I piped into a cistern. With rain water, which is going to have no to neglible hardness (calcium and magnesium) you don't need to add AMS to pre-condition water before adding chemical. Gave that up except for sometimes ATV type spraying, and don't mind the dry AMS or have any probs with it. Can buy off season dry AMS under $10 usually per 51 lbs. | |
