I don't think you are too far off. I agree with a little on the soil and more foliar for two way input. I am spreading 20 lbs of a six percent product in my dry spread for 50 cents a pound, that is ten bucks on one micro. Manganese is about the same price per pound but a 36% product so only three pounds will give me around a pound actual. Monitor with tissue tests.

As agrarian says a micro package in a liquid has only minute amounts so find out what you are getting. It is just enough to get the seedling off to a good start.

Put the zinc on cheap with your liquid starter or broadcast, whatever fits your bill the best. Zinc is easy and cheap to put on and you don't need fancy high priced products to get there.

Lots of you are low in copper which gives the plant stalk strength. Copper sulfate is cheap too.

Go slowly and inexpensively but ask questions.
