Subject: Small Square Bales- Storage Questions

Navarre, OH
Hello everyone, just looking for some input on what you guys do for storage of small squares. We make alfalfa/Timothy mix and pure alfalfa. Up until now we have been storing this hay on wooden floors in bank barns, by hand. We are now going to go into the bale accumulator route, and we are going to put up a building to store the hay in. My question is, what type of floor do you all recommend? Gravel? Wood? Concrete? I hear all sorts of different options, but do you guys have problems storing dry hay on concrete floors? Any input is appreciated, thanks.
