Mid-Michigan | We used to pull beans the old fashioned way (with knives). Now most direct cut but some are still using rodders and have a dummy pickup head on their combine. We used to pull 4 rows with a side dish charge then come back so we would have 8 rows in the windrow. It worked well and in my mind the best way to do dry beans. However I'm never going back to those days. Beans would have to be 40-60 $ for me to get back into them again. | |
