Lucan ON | Just wondering if there are any good formulas out there that i can use to make my application rate that takes into account soil test level, CEC and yield goal, Soils test are 85 ppm to 138 ppm for K and calcium 2300 to 4300 ( Heavy clay soils I know ) and CEC 13.9 to 25. I made management zones so hoping to VRA the potash. One field received 2000 gallons of sow manure and will get some again in the spring. Wheat yield this year was 116 and i'm shooting for 200+ in corn. From what i'm reading I don't need much or any K but i am showing low Magnesium across the board. My source should have some Magnesium in it my ratio is not good so putting on more potash with no magnesium is not helping it out. | |
